Cutting Red Tape So a Health Plan Can Accept Medi-Cal Members

After years of effort, we recently received regulatory approval for our client, AmericasHealth Plan (AHP), to serve Medi-Cal members. 

In cooperation with its parent, Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc., a network of 16 full-service health centers and three mobile units throughout Ventura County, Medi-Cal members are now able to access high quality, accessible, and culturally competent care arranged for by AHP. AHP hired us to obtain approval for the initiative, via a plan-to-plan agreement with Gold Coast Health Plan, from the Department of Managed Health Care. We were able to help extract our client from the political and regulatory quagmire that prevented this patient-centric initiative from moving forward.
