American Wind Energy Association Wind Project Siting and Environmental Compliance Conference

Svend Brandt-Erichsen and Brooke Wahlberg spoke at the AWEA Wind Project Siting & Environmental Compliance Conference 2017.  The conference, took place March 20 - 22 in Austin, Texas, and featured leaders from the wind industry, environmental permitting and compliance sector, the scientific community, and regulatory officials sharing their unique insight into the current state of siting and environmental compliance.

• Svend Brandt-Erichsen participated in a panel discussion titled, "Assessing the Lay of the Land - Status Review of Wildlife Permitting and Potential Paths Forward."  This presentation reviewed individual HCP processes, answering questions such as: where we are, where do we need to be, and how do we get there?
• Brooke Wahlberg took part in a panel discussion titled "Mr. Watson - Come Here - I want to see you," which evaluated the role of research in wind project siting and environmental compliance.
