During their presentation, Thomas and Jill discussed the evolving landscape of privacy and data security issues as well as some best practices for organizations to employ.  They also explored: 

  • New regulations, including the EU GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018;
  • Employee v. consumer privacy issues;
  • Data security concerns related to mobile devices and cloud storage solutions; and
  • Social media – concerns for employees and organizations.
