Mary Lynn Coffee, Thomas Dover and Jill Jaffe served as panelists during the Association of California Water Agencies' (ACWA) 2019 Spring Conference and Exhibition on May 9, 2019 in Monterey, CA.

Mary Lynn participated in a panel presentation entitled, "Navigating Protections of State Wetlands and Waters of the State," which covered the recently enacted California State Wetlands Policy as well as implications for those in the water sector.

Thomas and Jill discussed systems, data, and privacy in a changing technology landscape during "Attorneys Program: A Connected World Has Risks: Systems, Data, and Privacy." They explored the risks and best practices related to operational and administrative software, systems and technology, including the impact of new privacy & data security obligations. The session also covered software and system licensing terms and data security issues; employee/personnel issues related to privacy and data security; consumer privacy rights and entity data security obligations post-GDPR; and the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018.
