John Erskine participated in a presentation on “Legal Implications: Coastal Commission and STRs, SLR and LCP Process” before the Coastal Cities Issues Group on October 17, 2019 during the 2019 League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo in Long Beach, CA. 

John, who leads Nossaman’s Coastal practice area, counsels landowners, developers, lenders, receiverships, and public agencies on planning and land use matters, including the preparation and processing of Coastal Development Permits (CDPs), and regularly represents clients before the California Coastal Commission.

The League’s Annual Conference & Expo is an opportunity for city officials to learn and collaborate on solutions for the common challenges facing California cities, as well as to celebrate the accomplishments of California cities and the League.
