On April 30, 2020, Lori Anne Dolqueist co-moderated the Conference of California Public Utility Counsel's (CCPUC) Spring 2020 virtual event, "A Fireside Chat with CPUC President Marybel Batjer." Lori's co-moderators were CCPUC Board Member, Ruth Stoner Muzzin of Friedman & Springwater LLP, and co-chair of the Young Utilities Lawyer-CCPUC Board, Jamie Ormond of the California's Public Utilities Commission. The panel discussed President Batjer's first year in office at the CPUC as well as her long tenure in public service. President Batjer then addressed questions submitted by the audience.

The CCPUC is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation that has been in existence for more than 20 years, and is registered as a specialty bar association with the State Bar of California. Lori currently serves on the CCPUC Board of Directors and maintains an active practice focusing on water, energy, transportation and telecommunications regulatory matters before the CPUC.
