Yukiko Kojima and Barney Allison spoke on October 24, 2019 during the 2019 P3 Higher Education Summit, an event that brought together over 900 higher education and industry leaders to examine the latest modes of project delivery.

Barney was a panelist for “How Can a University Realize the Value from Using a Performance Based Approach.” The panel focused on the tools a university might consider to realize the value from using P3 delivery and financing, from the planning stages to long-term operations. Presenters also discussed value creation, key points of risk transfer and examined what degree of cooperation, control and planning is needed to realize the value of a performance based approach.

Yukiko moderated “The University of Hawai’i West O’ahu – Development Opportunities in the O’ahu’s Second City.” She guided a conversation with University leadership as it explores opportunities to undertake a significant development of the West O’ahu campus that would secure its place as an anchor institution for the Kapolei region.
