Brandon Davis participated in the 2023 P3 Airport Summit on May 8, 2023 in San Diego, CA. He spoke on the panel “How Do I Design a P3? Best Practices in Deal Structuring and Contract Management” with other public and private sector experts.
The basis of all good public-private partnerships (P3) is in the structuring of the deal and the management/oversight of the contract and efficient financing. During this session, the panel discussed the basic and best practices for P3 deal structuring and shared their views on the best practices for contract management for the long-term success of a P3.
This year’s P3 Airport Summit program brought together airport and industry leaders to discuss current challenges being faced by airports nationwide, and the role of alternative project delivery methods in this time. The two day program helped attendees understand how different delivery models are being employed, and best practices for planning and procuring successful initiatives.
