Water Leadership Group Webinar
07.25.2024

On July 25, 2024, Willis Hon provided an overview of recent regulatory developments on PFAS for public water providers. This virtual event to the Water Leadership Group covered how California is regulating PFAS contaminants in drinking water as well as the two recent actions taken by US EPA to regulate those compounds: (1) the adoption of a maximum contaminant level as part of the PFAS National Primary Drinking Water Regulation and (2) the designation of PFAS as hazardous substances under CERCLA. Further, Willis covered the new requirements imposed on water providers under those rules and the implications of those regulations.

The purpose of the Water Leadership Group is to inform, engage, collaborate and educate our members regarding emerging risks.
