What to Do if Your Insurance Claim is Denied?

Association of Corporate Counsel National Capital Region Webinar
09.09.2025
12:30 – 2:00 p.m. ET

On September 9th, Andrew Reidy, Joe Saka and Scott Boyle presented “What to Do if Your Insurance Claim is Denied” during the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) – National Capital Region’s virtual event. More than 90 in-house counsel joined the program.

Drawing on decades of experience, Nossaman’s insurance coverage attorneys described the claims process highlighting ways to troubleshoot roadblocks set up by insurers and how to position your claim for coverage. They also discussed how to respond to denials of coverage. The Insurance Recovery Group’s presentation included hypotheticals that addressed disputes about selection of counsel, defense counsel rates, control of settlement and allocation of claims.

The ACC is a global bar association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel through information, education, networking opportunities and advocacy initiatives.
