Congratulations to the Texas Department of Transportation on Award for SH 130

We congratulate the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for being recognized with a P3 Bulletin award for the SH 130 Refinance. TxDOT was recognized in the Best Financial Structure awards category by P3 Bulletin during its annual Americas P3 Awards ceremony in New York City on October 24, 2024. The P3 Awards provide a standard bearer for innovation in the industry and are recognized across the Americas as a symbol of P3 excellence. The awards shine a light on what is working well and champion the trailblazers that can become tomorrow’s industry standard.

P3 Bulletin noted the refinancing was a “testament to strategic financial acumen” and it “showcases a balanced approach to capital structure flexibility and growth facilitation.”

Christine Ryan, Linda Cunningham and Fred Kessler advised TxDOT in connection with the refinancing for the P3 to develop, finance and operate SH 130, Segments 5&6, a 41-mile toll road between San Antonio and Austin.
