Liz Klebaner and Yukiko Kojima were recognized in the 2026 edition of the “Women of Influence: Attorneys” supplement for the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ). For this feature, LABJ selects best-in-class attorneys in the Los Angeles region who have built a reputation as trusted advisors to their clients and leaders in their respective areas of law.

Liz is highlighted for advising “private and public agency clients on a variety of complex land use and environmental matters, including California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, California Coastal Act, Williamson Act, Subdivision Map Act, Planning and Zoning Law and federal and state environmental regulatory compliance…and for litigating in state and federal court.” LABJ also notes, “Her coverage of new CEQA legislation and other CEQA-related developments has appeared in trade publications and in online and print environmental law news outlets…and she also frequently speaks on CEQA, NEPA and coastal law matters.” The publication closes by saying she is “co-chair of Nossaman’s Pro Bono Committee…and her work as committee co-chair includes mentoring junior attorneys.”

Yukiko is lauded for offering “clients unique experience with highly innovative alternative delivery strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects in the U.S. because of her deep knowledge of national best practices as well as Canada’s mature P3 market.” LABJ adds, “She primarily advises public agencies in the use of methods such as P3 and design build, but also represents private-sector participants on select projects. Yukiko takes an active role in Nossaman’s P3 practice initiatives in the social infrastructure area and co-authored the Firm’s model social infrastructure P3 legislation.”
