Lori Anne Dolqueist, Tara O’Hanlon and Artin Shaverdian Recognized as “Lawyers of the Year”

Lori Anne Dolqueist, Tara O’Hanlon & Artin Shaverdian were recently recognized as “Lawyers of the Year” in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America^®. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and community is honored with a “Lawyer of the Year” award.

Lori was recognized in the San Francisco region in the Administrative/Regulatory Law category. Lori focuses her practice on water, energy, transportation and telecommunications regulatory matters before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). She is experienced in representing clients in utility mergers and acquisitions, rate cases, investigations, rulemakings and other aspects of state and federal regulation. Lori has extensive experience in California utility regulatory matters, with particular focus on matters involving water utilities. Lori was previously recognized as a “Lawyer of the Year” in the Utilities Law category in 2022, 2024 and 2025.

Tara was recognized in the Seattle region in the Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law category. Tara represents municipal agencies and property owners in their eminent domain/condemnation acquisitions. She has successfully tried numerous multimillion-dollar cases, including obtaining successful verdicts in several of Washington’s largest eminent domain decisions. She advises all segments of the design and construction industry, including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals and helps them build hospitals, infrastructure and road projects, casinos, hotels, office buildings, condominiums and other commercial and residential projects.

Artin was recognized in the Los Angeles region in the Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law category. Artin is widely recognized as a top attorney in real estate, eminent domain and inverse condemnation matters. He represents public agencies, business entities and individuals in commercial and real estate related disputes, including valuation-related litigation. He serves public agencies as lead counsel on the acquisition of thousands of parcels of real property. He works on some of the largest public works projects shaping the nation's infrastructure, including roads, highways, utilities, grade separations, rail projects, schools, flood basins and redevelopment projects.
