Overview

Sebastian Robles advises clients on a range of intellectual property and technology matters, with a practice that spans trademark prosecution, technology transactions and privacy and information security. He regularly prepares responses to USPTO Office Actions, conducts legal research on evolving data privacy and regulatory frameworks and drafts and advises on intellectual property assignment and related agreements. His experience also includes supporting M&A diligence, IP portfolio protection strategies and risk assessments.

In addition to his transactional and advisory work, Sebastian is active in Nossaman’s litigation practice. He represents clients in complex business disputes contributing across all phases of litigation, from pre-dispute analysis and strategy through discovery, motion practice and trial preparation.

Beyond the Law

Sebastian is a Los Angeles native who has remained closely connected to the community that shaped him, having never lived more than two hours away, including his four years in Santa Barbara for undergraduate studies. His deep ties to Southern California inform both his professional perspective and his commitment to serving the region. Outside of work, Sebastian enjoys watching sports — mainly stressing over the Dodgers and Broncos — as well as golfing, barbecuing with friends and family, attending concerts and playing chess. He also values the opportunity to travel and experience new places whenever he can.
