Guiding First-Of-Its-Kind Highway Project in Nebraska

We worked with the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) to bring a decades-long highway project to life.

NDOT has been working on the largest single-contract project in the department of transportation’s history– the $350 million Lincoln South Beltway Project.

“We want to be able to build for the future in this state,” we want to be able to grow Nebraska,” said Senator Deb Fischer.

We advised NDOT on a proposed 11-mile, four-lane freeway with five interchanges south of the City of Lincoln, will connect the regional state Highway N-2 on the east with US-77 on the west. The beltway will reduce congestion and improve safety in the South Lincoln area for regional and interstate traffic. We guided NDOT through the process of securing a TIFIA loan and facilitated the financing by the contractor for the project.
