We have worked with many professional societies and associations over the years. Our work includes assisting them with corporate formation and operational issues. We help to draft resolutions and provide parliamentarian services at membership meetings.
Clients turn to us for advice and counsel on scope of practice, provider-patient privilege, and patient rights matters. We also assist association clients with the conduct of peer review investigations and hearings.
Our attorneys have been called upon to work with medical specialty organizations to obtain recognition for their specialties by the Medical Board of California. On occasion, we file amicus briefs and prosecute test case litigation on issues of interest to clients.
