On September 8, 2026, Jillian Friess Leivas and Phyillis Macharia presented “A Non-Attorney’s Role in Condemnation” during the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Orange County Chapter 67 Luncheon.

Jillian and Phyillis provided an overview of the role and importance of non-attorneys in gearing up for and filing an eminent domain action. Early involvement from all members of the project team helps attorneys facilitate a smooth and successful eminent domain action. This in turn helps deliver projects on time and within budget.
