11.03.2021
12:00 – 1:15 p.m. PT

On November 3, 2021, Andrée Blais moderated and Liz Klebaner spoke during the WTS-LA Legislative webinar, “CEQA Streamlining for Transportation Projects.”

The discussion centered around CEQA streamlining approaches, such as the streamlining of judicial challenges to CEQA documents, tiering and statutory exemptions and how they could be leveraged in furtherance of delivering transit and transportation projects.

Speakers also elaborated on ways to coordinate NEPA and CEQA reviews since transportation projects often require federal approvals that trigger NEPA compliance obligations on the part of participating federal agencies.
