On September 28, 2021, Peter Mixon served a guest speaker during the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems’ (NCPERS) 2021 Fall Conference in Scottsdale, AZ.

Peter was featured in the Legislative/Legal Track’s breakout session, “Legal, Legislative and Regulatory Update,” during which he and his co-panelists discussed recent legal developments of interest to the national public pension community. Topics included the U.S. Department of Labor’s proposed regulations on the fiduciary duties of pension trustees in the context of sustainable investing, new standards on cybersecurity and the case of Houston Com. College System v. Wilson, which is currently pending before the United States Supreme Court.
