Liz Klebaner was a panelist for the pre-recorded on-demand session, “U.S. West Coast Offshore Wind: State of the Science and Progress Toward Environmentally Sustainable Development,” during American Clean Power Association’s Offshore WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition from October 13-15, 2021.

Liz and her fellow panelists addressed the state of the science and recent offshore wind progress on the West Coast and shared expected next steps forward to achieve environmentally sustainable offshore wind development in the region.

During this presentation, attendees:

• Shared environmental compliance and permitting lessons being learned on the West Coast from demonstration and research projects;

• Improved understanding of the status of the science and the processes at the state level for environmental compliance in CA and OR; and

• Reduced uncertainty for developers about the path forward for environmentally sustainable projects on the West Coast with concrete examples and available tools for success.

The Offshore WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition is hosted by the American Clean Power Association. All registrants will have access to on-demand content and recorded sessions through December 31, 2021.
