Anna Tang was featured in Law.com’sHow I Made Partner” special report for April 2021 (subscription required). Anna discussed a number of topics, including her transition from an Australian lawyer to working in the United States and what the key to business development is for her.

On the latter topic she said, “I think the key to successful business development is to strive to become a trusted adviser to your clients and doing an exceptional job on every deal they give you. Doing a good job has led to repeat business from the same clients, new business from client contacts who have moved on to new organizations and from client referrals."

Anna continued, "With everyone working remotely, it is now more important than ever to stay connected with clients and colleagues. Pick up the phone instead of sending an email—everyone is craving social interaction right now, and it’s so refreshing hearing a bubbly voice saying ‘G’day’ over the phone than reading another email.”
