On May 9, 2023, Mary Lynn Coffee discussed “What’s New in Regulation of Water Features?” during the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) Water Quality Committee meeting. During the presentation, Mary Lynn provided an update on the state and federal regulation of Waters of the United States (WOTUS), Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certifications and Waters of the State (WOTS).
ACWA is the largest statewide coalition of public water agencies in the country. Membership consists of more than 460 public agency members who are collectively responsible for 90% of the water delivered to cities, farms and businesses in California.
