Svend Brandt-Erichsen’s work for SunZia was highlighted in the Law360 story “9th Circ. Denies Tribes, Enviro Groups' Power Line Stay Bid.(subscription required)

Law360 recounted how the Ninth Circuit denied an emergency request from two Native American tribes and several conservation groups to stay an Arizona federal judge's order that permits construction to move forward on a $10 billion power line.

The publication reported that U.S. Circuit Judges William C. Canby and A. Wallace Tashima handed down an order denying a motion for injunctive relief requested by Arizona's Tohono O'odham Nation and San Carlos Apache Tribe, along with the Center for Biological Diversity and Archaeology Southwest. The order enables SunZia to finish constructing the remaining towers for its power line project.

In addition to Svend, Brian Imbornoni was noted in the article for his work with SunZia.
