Overview
Nathan Guttman brings extensive appellate and trial experience to Nossaman. As a state prosecutor, he focused on appeals and habeas litigation in both state and federal courts, resulting in published opinions in the California Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit. He also sought out matters at the trial level, including numerous jury and court trials, as well as evidentiary hearings and motion practice. He has defended state agencies in civil suits involving allegations such as police misconduct and wrongful death.
