Associate | Litigation (San Francisco)

We are seeking a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our San Francisco office to work on a wide variety of litigation matters. Nossaman is involved in cutting edge and novel disputes regarding fiduciary and related obligations of those who administer multi-billion dollar public and private pension plans, constitutional and public agency law compliance, employee and disability retirement benefit disputes and a range of other types of litigation including, among others, those pertaining to intellectual property disputes, insurance coverage, real estate and lease disputes and breach of contract claims.

Qualified candidates will have excellent research skills and experience drafting and responding to written discovery, pleadings, briefs and motions in state and federal court. eDiscovery and some deposition experience is preferred. The successful candidates will be able to manage multiple projects efficiently, work well as part of a team and be willing to take ownership of significant projects. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.

The salary range for the position of 3-5 Year Associate at Nossaman is $185,000 to $210,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 (which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work).
