Our San Francisco office was opened by none other than John (Jack) T. Knox. Jack is best known for authoring the Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 that established a regulatory framework for prepaid health plans (HMOs). He also penned a number of other landmark state and local government acts. Jack’s legacy of service, commitment to public welfare and conservation of California’s environment continues to resonate in the work we do today.

Our San Francisco office’s more than 30 litigators, transactional and regulatory attorneys serve clients in the healthcare, real estate, public pension, natural resources and governmental sectors.

The City has been a gracious host throughout the past four decades and we are committed to giving back.  We volunteer, support and hold leadership positions in numerous community, civic and cultural organizations throughout the Bay Area. As part of our mission to serve, we provide pro bono counsel and support organizations offering legal aid to underserved populations in our community.

We’ve grown together during the past four decades and look forward to helping San Francisco prepare for what’s to come.

Turn right on Folsom Street, left onto Main (which turns into Drumm Street, past Market Street), left onto Sacramento Street. The office will be on your left.

BART: The San Francisco office is one block from the Embarcadero Station of the BART system, which is shared by the San Francisco MUNI system. When arriving at Embarcadero Station, look for the exit labeled "A2 - Main/Market." When you reach street level, turn left (north) and walk through the block to California Street. We are at the corner of California and Davis.

Both San Francisco and Oakland airports have BART service connections so it is not necessary to rent a car unless you need it for other purposes. BART has route maps and fare charts posted near each bank of ticket machines so that you can plan your route and buy your round-trip ticket easily; BART ticket machines accept bank ATM cards and credit cards as well as cash for ticket purchases.

Parking is available in the building at 50 California Street, with the entrance located on Sacramento Street between Drumm Steet and Davis Street. The facility is open 24 hours on weekdays, but closed on weekends. To contact the Parking Garage, call 415.956.5555.
