Brooke Wahlberg spoke during the 2016 American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Wind Project Siting & Environmental Compliance Conference on March 23, 2016, in Charleston, South Carolina. Brooke participated in a panel discussion covering a variety of pressing legal issues facing wind developers and operators. The panel discussed recent notable criminal and civil enforcement settlements, actions that minimize legal risk and emerging issues in future wind projects.  

The AWEA is the national trade association for the US wind industry and its members include wind power project developers and parts manufacturers; utilities and researchers; and wind energy advocates. This nonprofit organization promotes public awareness of wind energy and is committed to supporting ongoing research that further the continued growth of this energy.
