Midsize Firms Are Happy About Their Choices These Days

Nossaman is mentioned in the National Law Journal article "Midsize firms are happy about their choices these days," about law firms with 100-200 lawyers across the country recruiting candidates from top law schools who have historically gone to large firms.  The recession has forced larger firms to shrink their first year associate classes.  Due to that fact, candidates from top law schools have widened their job search, but they also see value in the balance offered at midsize firms as well as the "better access to interesting legal work and a closer-knit culture."

The article mentions Nossaman as a midsize firm with notable first-year hires: "Los Angeles-based Nossaman, with 142 lawyers, brought aboard graduates from University of California, Berkeley School of Law and University of California at Los Angeles School of Law for its first-year class."
