Nossaman Infrastructure Partner Nancy Smith Pens Article For Public Works Financing

Nossaman Infrastructure Partner Nancy Smith authored an article featured in the January 2016 issue of Public Works Financing. The article, titled Reflections on 25 Years of DB Deals looks at the experience garnered by Ms. Smith while working on design-build projects throughout her career, including her work for public agencies in California - including the Orange County Transportation Corridor Agencies, Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority and Los Angeles area transit agencies - as well as agencies in other states.  Ms. Smith discussed the challenges of developing contracts to meet the needs and goals of different project owners, and noted that the contracts she developed have served as precedent for the transportation design-build industry.
