Brooke Wahlberg Named a "Rising Star in Environmental Law"

Brooke Wahlberg, a Partner in Nossaman’s Environment & Land Use Group, was one of only five attorneys nationally that was recognized by Law360 as a “Rising Star” for 2019 in the environmental law category. The awards recognize a select group of attorneys under 40 “whose legal accomplishments transcend their age.”
 
In the Law360 feature on Brooke, the publication noted that she is a “go-to authority” helping clients navigate through the “maze of wildlife and environmental compliance” which contributed to her being chosen for the “Rising Star” honor. The feature also highlights Brooke’s work on a number of projects, including the establishment of a five-state species conservation bank developed to provide ready mitigation for project proponents impacting species.  
 
When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Brooke said “I really like being able to problem solve…I take joy in helping people be less stressed about something or feeling more comfortable about the choices they're making.”
