Dollar a Day Goal in Davis

Nossaman Lobbyist Richard Harris is quoted in the Sacramento Bee article, "Dollar a day goal in Davis."

In order to help prevent teacher layoffs in the face of further budget cuts, residents in Davis are being asked to contribute one dollar a day for each student in the Davis Joint Unified School District.  Mr. Harris, who is on the school board, feels that Davis residents will support the district in this time of need.  "It's a university town and people value education. If any community is going to put their money where their mouth is, it's going to be this one."
