Infrastructure Journal Honors Texas Project as Global Transport Deal of the Year, Recognizes Florida Projects and Nossaman's Role as Transport Legal Advisor

Los Angeles, CA (March 16, 2010) - Infrastructure Journal, the leading international infrastructure trade publication, named the Texas Department of Transportation's North Tarrant Express managed lanes highway project its 2009 Global Transport Deal of the Year.  The IJ's jury nominated the Florida Department of Transportation's I-595 Corridor Roadway Improvement Project as one of three projects for the honor. 

The North Tarrant Express was nominated with two other projects for the IJ's more comprehensive 2009 Global Deal of the Year - which selects from projects from around the world in all sectors, including: power, renewables, oil and gas, PPPs, and transport.

Nossaman was nominated along with two other law firms for the 2009 Global Transport Legal Advisor of the Year award for our work in the industry, including our work on the North Tarrant Express, the I-595, and the Port of Miami Tunnel.   

The prestigious IJ Awards, held on March 11, complement the previous week's Project Finance Magazine Awards, which named the Port of Miami Tunnel Improvement Project its 2009 Global Deal of the Year and 2009 North American PPP Deal of the Year.  Project Finance named the I-595 Corridor Roadway Improvements Project its 2009 North American Transport Deal of the Year.
