Looking ahead to 2010

Project Finance International
The Project Finance International article leads with a quote from Patrick Harder and a description of several states that are launching new or relaunching existing public-private partnership programs.  The successful transactions in Florida and continued progress in Texas are mentioned as a model for other states.  Mr. Harder is quoted as saying "[these transactions] have garnered interest among other states who have watched those states leverage limited public funds into real infrastructure projects, now." A second driver in the coming trend to turn the eagerly awaited P3 revolution into realised transactions is the fiscal crisis looming among states across the nation, which is expected to keep budgets restrained even after the stimulus plan begins to wind down.  Click on the following link to learn more about Nossaman's Infrastructure practice
