Overview
John O'Meara handles matters concerning liability for environmental compliance issues and torts, including enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state or local regulators. He focuses on issues concerning complex contaminated site cleanup, green energy and greenhouse gases and high-tech facilities.
John has experience in various phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, defending and taking depositions, expert witness development, motions practice and oral advocacy. He also counsels clients with environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts, due diligence and internal investigations related to air, water or soil contamination.
