On February 6, 2018, Ilse Scott presented "You’re Playing My Jam – Music Licensing for Hoteliers," a webinar for the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA). In this session, Ilse gave an overview of the fundamentals of music licensing requirements for the hotel industry. 

Attendees learned when and why they may be required to obtain a license to play music at their property; the circumstances in which a licensure exemption may apply; and how to respond to demand letters for music licensing payments.
