Nossaman Commemorates September 11th

On September 11, 2014, Nossaman participated in a volunteer event to build a playground at the Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School in Washington, DC.  Primarily serving a low-income population of 300 students, teachers at the school encourage students' problem-solving skills and investigation of new concepts and ideas.  The school had lacked sufficient playground equipment for all of its students so KaBOOM! partnered with Corporation for National & Community Service and MyGoodDeed to build a playground for them on 9/11.  A pro bono client of the Firm, MyGoodDeed is a charitable organization that established 9/11 formally as a day of service.  Nossaman attorneys and policy advisors participated in the event.
