Nossaman was ranked #49 on the National Law Journal’s (NLJ) 2016  Women in Law Scorecard, which ranks the nation's largest law firms according to their inclusion of women attorneys. This is another great recognition of Nossaman’s commitment to building a diverse, inclusive work environment, said Ashley Dunning, Co-Chair of Nossaman’s Public Pensions and Investments Practice Group and leader of its Women’s Affinity Group.  Earlier in 2016, Nossaman was recognized by Law360  as a Top 100 law firm for both female and minority attorneys for the second year in a row, and the American Lawyer ranked  the Firm in the top 20 percent (#36) of U.S. firms in its "Diversity Scorecard," which lists Am Law 200 firms based on diversity at associate, of counsel and partner levels. This year's NLJ Women In Law Scorecard  ranking was based on survey responses from 254 of the nation's 350 largest law firms by head count, as determined by the NLJ. The Women In Law rank was calculated by adding each firm's percentage of women attorneys with its percentage of women partners — a formula that gives extra weight to women in the partnership ranks.
