Nossaman LLP Names Two New Partners
LOS ANGELES (March 6, 2014) – Nossaman LLP is proud to announce the elevation of two attorneys to partnership. The new partners are James H. Vorhis in San Francisco, Calif. and Benjamin Z. Rubin in Irvine, Calif. The promotions are effective immediately.

James Vorhis, also a member of the firm's Litigation practice, focuses his practice on business disputes involving financial services, construction and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Vorhis is experienced in all phases of litigation, including trial, conducting and defending depositions, managing complex discovery issues, and briefing and arguing major dispositive motions. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School (2006) and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley (1998).
Benjamin Rubin, a member of the Eminent Domain and Valuation, Environment and Land Use and Litigation practices, assists clients on a variety of complex land use and eminent domain related matters generally involving federal and state permitting issues, local zoning issues and variances, environmental planning and compliance, right-to-take challenges, valuation of property interests, orders for prejudgment possession, and loss of business goodwill.. He earned his J.D. from the Chapman University School of Law, magna cum laude (2006) and his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2003).
