Nossaman Partner and head of the firm's Infrastructure Practice Group, Geoff Yarema, is quoted in the Public Works Financing article, "Does 'Public-Private Partnership' Still Tell the Whole Story?" The article involves an analysis of the terms "Public-Private Partnership" and "Performance-Based Infrastructure" lead off by Mr. Yarema and followed by reaction and commentary from other industry leaders. Mr. Yarema is quoted as saying, "'Partnership' inaccurately implies a cozy relationship that doesn't keep the public purse at arms length. 'Performance-Based Infrastructure' more accurately implies a contractual relationship where the public sector holds the private sector strictly accountable for its performance in providing infrastructure services."
