Nossaman Expands Insurance Counseling & Recovery Group, DC Office with Addition of Prominent Insurance Duo – Andrew Reidy and Joseph Saka
Washington, DC – We are pleased to announce Andrew Reidy and Joseph Saka have joined the Insurance Counseling & Recovery Group in Nossaman’s Washington, DC office. Andrew and Joseph join as partners, and Andrew will serve as co-chair of the Group. They join from Lowenstein Sandler.
Andrew and Joseph's practice focuses on representing corporate and governmental policyholders throughout the country in disputes against insurance companies in connection with a wide variety of insurance policies, including directors and officers (D&O), commercial general liability, property, errors and omissions, crime and fidelity policies. Their clients, including Fortune 100 corporations and governmental entities, rely on their in-depth knowledge of insurance law and of insurance claims resolution. Their practice includes a broad spectrum of legal services, from counseling companies on how to maximize an insurance recovery to representing policyholders in mediation, arbitration, litigation and trial in state and federal courts.
Over the course of 30 years representing policyholders, Andrew has successfully tried insurance cases and argued complex insurance issues before numerous courts, including the highest courts of Massachusetts, Iowa and Delaware. He is ranked by Chambers & Partners – both nationally and in DC – in the Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Policyholder category and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in the Insurance Law section. He holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from Boston College.
With nearly 15 years of experience, Joseph has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” (2023) and “Rising Star” (2017-2022) by Super Lawyers and as “Up and Coming” by Chambers & Partners in Washington, DC for the Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Policyholder category. He holds a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a B.A. from George Washington University.
