Nossaman Infrastructure Partners Honored With DBIA Awards

Nossaman Infrastructure Practice Group Partners Evan Caplicki and Elizabeth Cousins were recently honored by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) with Design-Build In Transportation Awards.  Mr. Caplicki received a 2106 Industry Professional Leadership Award and Ms. Cousins received a 2016 Young Professional Leadership Award. 

The DBIA Industry Professional Leadership Award recognizes Mr. Caplicki’s dedication to the DBIA and to employing the organization’s best practices in his work. Mr. Caplicki, who has been representing clients on design-build projects since 1998, has helped many public owners with their first design-build projects.  He is an active member of DBIA’s Transportation Markets Committee and Chair of the Legal and Legislative Committee, and one of the key authors of DBIA's Best Practices for Transportation Projects.

 
The DBIA Young Professional Leadership Award—which is given to individuals under 35—recognizes Ms. Cousins for consistently employing DBIA Best Practices; utilizing her broad experience with design-build and P3s internationally and within the U.S.; and  for helping her clients better understand their roles in a design-build project through training and workshops.

The Design-Build in Transportation Leadership Award winners are selected by DBIA's Transportation Markets Committee comprised of design-build professionals and industry experts from across the country. Mr. Caplicki and Ms. Cousins were honored on April 19 at the DBIA Design-Build in Transportation Conference in Charlotte, N.C.
