Two Nossaman Partners Recognized among "Most Influential Minority Lawyers"
Patrick Harder, Chair of the Infrastructure Group and Artin Shaverdian, a Partner in the Eminent Domain & Valuation Group, were recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) in its Most Influential Minority Lawyers" supplement. The supplement featured the L.A. region’s leading minority attorneys who are trusted advisors and maintain the highest professional and ethical standards while contributing to the Los Angeles business and legal community at large.
The LABJ highlighted Patrick’s work serving as lead counsel to public agencies on some of the largest, most innovative, and most technically complex Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects in Los Angeles and nationally. This includes cornerstone projects (the Automatic People Mover and Consolidated Rental-Car-Center) for the City of Los Angeles/Los Angeles World Airports Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), a massive, $6 billion-plus overhaul modernization of LAX. LAMP will significantly improve access to LAX, and enhance how 75 million travelers experience the nation’s second business airport.
The publication noted that Artin is widely recognized as an expert in California in eminent domain and inverse condemnation matters. Artin’s recent work includes assisting with real property matters related to City of Los Angeles/LAMP, and working with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority on a number of projects, including the acquisition of properties for the LAX/Crenshaw Transit Corridor Project, a $2+ billion, 8.5-mile light rail line in Los Angeles.
