Karen Roberts has more than 30 years of association management and political compliance experience.  She has served as Executive Director, Administrative Director, Chief Financial Officer, Controller and/or Treasurer for more than twenty associations and organizations, positively affecting the viability of each client during her tenure.

Among the associations Karen has served are the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP), the Association of California Life & Health Insurance Companies (ACLHIC), Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), Personal Insurance Federation of California (PIFC), National Wine Retailers Association (NAWR), California Regional Health Information Organization (CalRHIO), Association for California High Speed Trains, WateReuse Association and its Foundation, American Desalting Association, California Public Radio & Television, California Special Districts Association, MicroCredit Enterprises, Jewish Public Affairs Committee of California, and Active 20-30 United States & Canada.

For Nossaman’s Government Relations & Regulation Group, Karen has worked with more than 40 politically-involved organizations and PACs to ensure they meet rigorous campaign and lobbying reporting and compliance requirements in state and local jurisdictions.  Representative clients include California Association of Health Plans PAC, Consumers for Clean Water PAC, ACLHIC PACs, Jack in the Box Inc., Genentech, Inc., Foster Interstate Media, Lockheed Martin Company, Ponderosa Telephone Company, Proterra Investment Partners, the Recording Industry Association of America, and Ron Davis Advocacy.
