Patricia de la Peña moderated a panel, “Upcoming Texas Infrastructure Projects: How Will Texas Agencies Deploy / Prioritize Projects in Light of the Anticipated 35B Allocation,” during the 3rd Infraday Texas forum on February 24, 2022 in Houston, TX.

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act has been billed as the largest federal investment in public transit, passenger rail, bridge projects and clean drinking water and wastewater infrastructure. Texas ranked second on the list of states receiving the largest amount of federal funding from the bill and Texas agencies are preparing to respond to multiple funding competitions, which will create new design and construction opportunities. Patricia and her fellow panelists explored agency priorities in responding to future potential opportunities for funding through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
