East End Crossing Recognized at ARTBA's 25th Anniversary Awards
On July 26, the American Road & Transportation Builders Association ("ARTBA") held its awards dinner for the 25th Annual P3s in Transportation Conference. Each year during this dinner, the ARTBA P3 Division honors projects that exemplify the value of P3s in the United States and also recognizes two individuals, one public sector and one private sector, for their exemplary contributions to the development, growth and public education of P3s.
Nossaman would like to congratulate the Indiana Finance Authority ("IFA") for the Ohio River Bridges - East End Crossing's recognition as "Project of the Year" for its groundbreaking accomplishments. We'd also like to congratulate Kendra York, Public Finance Director of the State of Indiana, who won "Public-Sector Entrepreneur of the Year" for her role in shepherding the procurement for the public sector, and Matt Walsh, CEO & co-chair of The Walsh Group, who won "Private-Sector Entrepreneur of the Year." Mr. Walsh's company was part of the consortium that was awarded the P3 contract for the East End Crossing. A Nossaman team that included Corey Boock, Barney Allison, and John Smolen advised the IFA on the project.
ARTBA also honored Bill Reinhardt, Editor and Publisher of Public Works Financing, with the "Legacy Award." The award is given to an individual who has spent a career making powerful, industry-wide contributions to the P3 community.
