Brandon Davis Quoted on Transit-Oriented Development in U.S. Cities

Brandon Davis was quoted in the Inframation article, “Sector Analysis: US Cities Turn To Transit-Oriented Development.” The article discusses how U.S. cities were looking closely at rail and bus-friendly transit hubs, or transit-oriented developments (TODs), prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and how interest is beginning to return with investors for this type of development.

Commenting on the potential value TODs present to project owners and when to extract that value from potential TOD developers, Brandon said, “The timing of assessing the value that these TOD components can add is critical because it may be the difference between whether a project is viable or not. Acting on them early might get you pennies on the dollar and acting on them later can give you a higher value. But the question is whether your project can wait until later.”
