Three Nossaman partners–Lori Anne Dolqueist, a Partner in the Firm’s Water Group, Patrick Harder, Chair of the Infrastructure Group, and Brad Kuhn, Chair of the Eminent Domain & Valuation Group, were named to The Recorder’s inaugural California Trailblazers list. The Trailblazers list recognizes a handful of attorneys that are truly agents of change and have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice.

Lori was recognized for her work for the California American Water Company, for whom she won approval from state utility regulators for…the construction of the Monterey Peninsula Water Supply Project, which includes a desalination plant to reduce the region’s reliance on the Carmel River for drinking water. This win will have a positive impact on her client and its customers for decades to come.

Patrick was profiled for his lead role on the Automatic People Mover (APM) and Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). He led the commercial and financial closes for the two large projects, which will transform how travelers experience Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and are valued at approximately $7 billion.

Brad was lauded for his eminent domain work for public agencies on a link to the Los Angeles Metro and the ConRAC at LAX and a trolley line connecting downtown San Diego to the University City area, as well as private property owners who are targets of eminent domain action. Additionally, The Recorder noted his work with lawmakers to help avoid a repeat of the Pacific Gas & Electric bankruptcy, which was caused by claims stemming from wildfires.
