Stay Ahead: 2017 Emerging Employment Issues

Nossaman hosted this complimentary presentation on cutting-edge employment law issues.  California and federal employment laws are constantly developing and evolving so it is essential for human resource professionals and corporate leaders, in both the public and private sectors, to stay informed.  This program provided attendees with practical solutions, best practices and action items to address emerging employment issues.

During our program we covered:

• New state and federal legislation;
• Privacy and cybersecurity law in the workplace including e-monitoring, the Defend Trade Secrets Act, BYOD and COPE policies and social media; and
• Understanding leave laws through hypothetical scenarios.
