Nossaman Expands Eminent Domain & Valuation Practice with Addition of Prominent Eminent Domain and Appellate Attorney Steve Silva

Sacramento, CA — We are pleased to announce that Steve Silva has joined our Eminent Domain & Valuation practice. Steve is admitted to practice in California and Nevada.

Steve previously served as a partner at Blanchard, Krasner & French in Reno, Nevada where his practice was focused on eminent domain, real estate litigation, land use matters and appellate matters. He currently serves as an Appellate Litigation Section Chair for the State Bar of Nevada and as an Instructor of Property Law, Civil Evidence and Civil Procedure at Truckee Meadows Community College. Early in his legal career, Steve served as Staff Attorney, Civil Division for the Nevada Supreme Court. In addition to Steve joining, the Eminent Domain & Valuation practice added Aline Madikians as an associate in the Los Angeles office in July 2021.

We have represented public agencies and other acquiring entities in the acquisition of right of way and other property. Our work includes major road, rail, flood control, utility and school projects. We also represent landowners and business owners facing both full and partial takings in a wide variety of contexts.
