Our San Francisco office was opened by none other than John (Jack) T. Knox. Jack is best known for authoring the Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 that established a regulatory framework for prepaid health plans (HMOs). He also penned a number of other landmark state and local government acts. Jack’s legacy of service, commitment to public welfare and conservation of California’s environment continues to resonate in the work we do today.

Our San Francisco office’s more than 30 litigators, transactional and regulatory attorneys serve clients in the healthcare, real estate, public pension, natural resources and governmental sectors.

The City has been a gracious host throughout the past four decades and we are committed to giving back.  We volunteer, support and hold leadership positions in numerous community, civic and cultural organizations throughout the Bay Area. As part of our mission to serve, we provide pro bono counsel and support organizations offering legal aid to underserved populations in our community.

We’ve grown together during the past four decades and look forward to helping San Francisco prepare for what’s to come.
